Yes, naturopaths increasingly embrace evidence based medicine. There is also a growing body of evidence supporting many herbal medicines and nutrients used by naturopaths. These high quality scientific studies can be found on Pubmed and in several other peer reviewed journals. 

Consults are Online via Zoom Video Conference Software (similar to Skype) and they can be done Australia-wide. 

Skin care products are handmade in the Northern Rivers of NSW, and can be shipped Australia-wide.

Some of the products like oils and serums are vegan, however, all the balms and salves are made using Beeswax. Please read each product ingredient before purchasing. 

Please understand that this is a small business that is run alone, and all the skin care products are handmade, please allow extra time to receive them. It could potentially take up to 2 weeks to receive your order.

Unfortunately I cannot receive returns or refunds on purchased skin products due to safety concerns, as they have been sent and opened within someone else’s home.

This is also a small business and I cannot afford to throw away any products that have been returned due to change of mind. 

However, if you receive your item and it is damaged or smashed I will happily refund it or send you a new product. 

Please read every ingredient label thoroughly and know exactly what is in the product before purchasing, to avoid any unwanted skin reactions. The ingredients in my products may change at times due to various reasons, so keep up to date with the ingredient labels!

I cannot refund or do returns on orders if you have a skin reaction to one of the herbs or an essential oil, as this is costly to me as a small business. I ask that all my customers do their due diligence and make sure you are being safe and wise with any product you purchase.

As these skin care products are 100% natural, they contain no artificial additives or preservatives. This means their shelf life isn’t as long as products from a store. These herbal skin care products will generally last for up to 6 months to a year if they are stored in a cool dark place away from any sunlight.

Leave the products tightly capped to prevent any oxidation, and always use clean dry fingers when applying it to your skin to avoid contamination. If you don’t think you will get through the product in time, you can store it in the fridge to prolong the shelf life. 

For an Online consultation or meal plan, you will be required to pay the full consultation fee upfront.

After your booking has been made I will provide you with written confirmation of your purchase and provide my banking details which you can then use to make a direct deposit.

Due to limited appointments, it is a requirement that you provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of a cancellation or reschedule. Last minute cancellations of a pre-booked appointment unfortunately cause significant problems when running a practice. If you give 24 hours notice you will receive a full refund, however if notice is not given within at least 24 hours the full treatment price will be applied. 

For every last-minute cancellation and missed appointment, there is someone else who needed help but was unable to book an appointment. For this reason I am firm with this cancellation policy. It is unfair of me to try and differentiate reasons and excuse some people but not others.
